Faces of Resilience is an ongoing portrait series documenting members of the Iranian diaspora in Sussex, UK. Created through personal connection and cultural reflection, the work explores themes of identity, adaptation, and belonging. Each portrait is paired with a lived narrative, set against the symbolic Haft Seen of Nowruz — representing renewal and transformation. The series offers a tribute to resilience and a visual archive of a community often underrepresented in the British cultural landscape.
