Masoud Teimory is a British-Iranian photographer based in Sussex.
His practice explores portraiture, landscape, and the visual structure of symmetry—both in natural and human-made environments. Working primarily in digital formats, he also engages with traditional black-and-white silver gelatine processes to further investigate visual form and perception.

In 2010, he began a long-term collaboration with University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, using photography to investigate the relationship between chaos, symmetry, and organic form. His work has been exhibited in respected venues including Watershed in Bristol and the Royal Photographic Society.

Teimory is currently pursuing an MA in Photography at the University of Brighton. He brings an interdisciplinary background to his work, having trained as an ophthalmologist with a foundation in neuroscience. This scientific grounding informs his approach to visual perception—he studies not just what we see, but how we interpret what we see.
